About Us

Two operators, one business.

Briscoe Capital was founded by Dylan and Bradley Briscoe. We are not a fund and we are not investors looking for a portfolio. We are looking for one established Texas business to buy and run ourselves.

Shaped across South Africa, the UK, and the US, and grounded in Texas with deep ties to Austin and Dallas.

We both leave our current jobs and run the business full time after closing, split by function rather than by title. Dylan takes the commercial side: sales, pricing, and growth. Bradley takes finance and operations: cash, reporting, and controls.

Dylan Briscoe, Partner at Briscoe Capital

Dylan Briscoe

Partner · Commercial and growth · Primary acquisition contact

Dylan has spent his career running categories as businesses. At BSN Sports in Dallas he owned the P&L across three sport categories, growing them from $37M to $49M in revenue while selling into more than 20,000 accounts. He launched a category from nothing, negotiating a revenue-share partnership that produced over $225K in its first year.

That work is the reason he wants to buy a company rather than invest in one. Pricing, assortment, forecasting, and the unglamorous coordination between sales, supply chain, and finance are the levers that decide whether a small business makes money, and he has spent five years pulling them. He now leads category strategy and data analysis, where he built the pricing model the whole category team runs on and the field playbooks used by 1,200 sales reps.

He is completing an MBA at SMU's Cox School of Business, concentrating in strategy and entrepreneurship, and recently consulted for a federally qualified health center in Dallas, diagnosing where its revenue cycle was leaking money and delivering a prioritized fix to its executive team. Diligence on a small business is much the same exercise.

Dylan leads the search. He reads the first email, takes the first call, and gives the first honest answer about whether there is a fit. He is based in Texas and intends to be on site at the business we buy.

Bradley Briscoe

Partner · Finance and operations

Bradley is a corporate finance operator at Dell Technologies, currently a CFO Analyst in Treasury Operations. He manages daily cash positioning and short-term liquidity forecasting across multiple bank accounts, and analyzes financial risk and capital structure for leadership decisions. He has moved through treasury, sales finance, and a P&L controller seat, which is close to a tour of every discipline that underwrites, finances, and runs a company.

His most useful habit is finding the money nobody is looking at. Analyzing redemption, stacking, and margin-erosion patterns across internal systems at Dell.com, he surfaced $8M in misrepresented revenue and margin risk. He has also built the dashboards, automated tracking, and repeatable reporting that gave finance and sales leadership honest visibility into how the business was actually performing.

That is exactly what a business this size usually lacks. Most sellers we meet run on instinct and a bookkeeper, and the first thing a new owner needs is a clear view of cash, margin, and where the leaks are. Bradley builds that view. He works in Excel, Power BI, SQL, Salesforce, and Python, and holds a BS in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M, a degree built around how distribution and service businesses actually move product and money.

He is based in Southlake, in the DFW area.

Why we're doing this

  • We want to own and operate a real business, not trade one
  • Texas is home, and we want to build something here
  • A lot of good companies have no succession answer, and their owners deserve a better option than a strategic buyer who folds them in
  • We would rather run one company well for twenty years than five of them badly for three

What you can expect from us

  • A direct answer, quickly, including when the answer is no
  • No brokered game of telephone. You talk to the buyers
  • An NDA before you send anything sensitive
  • Diligence that confirms what you told us rather than hunting for a reason to retrade
  • A transition planned around your people, not just the closing date

Let's have a quiet first conversation.

No pressure, no obligation, and nothing shared beyond the two of us. If we are not the right buyers we will say so early.
